Our Mission & Values

St Joseph Catholic MAT is a new Catholic multi-academy trust working in partnership with the Archdiocese of Liverpool, the Diocese of Shrewsbury and the Diocese of Chester.

The Trust has been launched to provide transformative educational opportunities for children and young people in the North West of England.

As part of the launch, The Trust has set out its overarching Mission and Vision as well as outlining its Values and Core Principles that will help to achieve them.

Our vision is to provide a world-class, Catholic education to all children within the St Joseph family, which enables them to:

  • achieve academically so that they are well-equipped for the world of work; 
  • harness their God-given gifts in order to make a positive difference as responsible citizens of society and the world
